Rules & Gameplay of the game

Introduction

You went into a portal and teleported to a building. You went out of the building and realise this place is called “City of Tiles”. After a few minutes, some guards arrested you. You heard an announcement.. ‘This is Tion, the creator of City of Tiles who made a game called “Summoner Tile” where players were sent to Arena tiles to battle against each other to live.'

Game Setup

Shuffle the Arena Power-ups Deck(Orange) and draw 3 cards to put on the orange tiles on the board; Monster who is on it will get the benefit of the Power-up.

Gameplay

For every turn after FIRST turn of each player, player draws a Monster card and will have 5 Liks to summon Monsters. Each player can summon as many monsters as they can by using Liks. Each Summoner and monster can either move and attack/uses ability once or move twice per turn regardless of the order but for monster that was just summoned in the turn, it can only attack once instead of moving.

For summoning, players can only summon monster adjacent to their summoner’s position on the tile. Melee monster can only attack enemy that are adjacent to it whereas Range monster have 2 different types of ranges. Some monster has 2 tiles attack range and some has 3 tiles attack range.

Winning Condition

When one of the summoner dies, the other wins.

Abilities

There are Passive and Active abilities. Passive ability gives the monster benefit that doesn’t require Liks. For example - Spiru has a passive ability called “Soul Reaper” that will activate when a monster dies.

But an Active ability require certain amount of Liks to cast. For example – PuPul wants to use the abiliy “Magnet” that require 4 Liks.

Damage & Armor System

1 Attack damage = 1 life point or 1 armor.

For example – If this monster has 5 life point and 1 armor and it is attacked by 3 attack damage, it will have 3 life point and 0 armor left(Armor will be deducted before life points.)

Armor will regenerate back whenever a turn passes.

Power-ups

In the field, there are few Arena power-ups tiles (Orange Tiles) that either grant 2 armor or boost extra 2 damage and more if player’s monster is on it. A monster can get multiple power-ups in a turn.

There are different power-ups. There are 4 field power-ups slot tiles (Grey Tiles) for field power-ups on the side of the field for each player.

Field power-ups can boost attack damage for all the monsters on the field or gaining extra Liks for every turn.

Read power-ups tiles for the specific effects.
